Hello, and welcome to the Vervist.

The Vervist is a space for me to express and explore my findings and feelings throughout my journey with Lupus Nephritis. It has been created to allow myself an outlet for expression but also hopes to allow others to feel welcome and comfortable with their own struggles, trials, and tribulations. I must stress that I am not a medical professional nor do I deem myself fit for medical advisory.  Although the Vervist is a space to breathe, for pushing boundaries, and for reflection, all articles are of my own opinion or experience. It is not to act as an outlet for medical advice. It delves deep into emotion but also hosts an array of musings, and helpful finds. It is a creative space; a place for pause; a journal. 

The Vervist is anyone who lives or strives to live with “verve” — someone who lives with vigour, spirit and who views life and its many adventures with enthusiasm and optimism. The Vervist also pays a nod to my name, Veronica, and it too reminds me to despite my cards, live with gusto and vigour – to live my life with Verve.
